Yellow Owl Cruncher

Yellow Owl Cruncher

A bright and proven Cruncher pattern, the Yellow Owl is a useful choice when trout are responding to a stronger splash of colour. The familiar Cruncher profile gives the fly plenty of movement and presence, while the yellow tones provide a clear target in the water.

This is a particularly useful pattern for searching water and for fishing as part of a team, where the brighter colour can help draw attention from feeding fish. It can be fished on a range of lines and retrieves, from a slow figure-of-eight to a more active pull when trout are feeding higher in the water.

The Yellow Owl Cruncher is a versatile pattern for stillwater trout and can be used throughout the season. It is especially worth having in the box for days when brighter, more visible patterns are producing better than darker or more natural flies.

A good all-round Cruncher with plenty of colour and movement, making it a useful pattern to have ready when you need to change things up.
