Tied with soft white rabbit fur stretched over two hooks, the front hook is clipped to create extra movement and a lifelike swimming action in the water. The long, flowing tail pulses with every retrieve, imitating small fry and triggering aggressive takes from both stocked rainbows and wild brown trout. A subtle hint of chartreuse in the body gives it that classic Cat’s Whisker attraction, making it a versatile choice in a wide range of conditions.

Best fished on intermediate or sinking lines, the White Cat Snake responds well to a steady figure-of-eight retrieve or a sharp pull-and-pause method. It is particularly deadly in cooler months and in slightly coloured water, when trout are chasing baitfish more actively.
