Tequila Blob Booby

Tequila Blob Booby

A bright, highly visible pattern combining the attraction of a Tequila Blob with the buoyancy and movement of a Booby. The strong Tequila colour gives this fly plenty of presence in the water, making it a useful choice when trout are responding to bright, highly visible patterns.

The Booby construction allows the fly to suspend and move differently from a standard Blob, with the buoyant body creating plenty of movement as it is retrieved. Fished on a sinking line, it can be worked through the water column while the fly maintains its buoyant profile, making it particularly effective when trout are looking for an active target.

The Tequila Blob Booby is a pattern for searching water and is well suited to reservoir and stillwater fishing. Vary the retrieve to find the pace the fish want, from short pulls and pauses through to a faster strip when trout are actively chasing.

A bright, versatile pattern that combines two proven styles into one fly, giving you plenty of colour, movement and attraction when a more subtle pattern isn’t getting the response you are looking for.
