Silver Shuggie

The Silver Snuggie is a lively, eye-catching pattern combining a black marabou tail with a silver body and flash, finished with a grizzly hackle and silver brass bead. The marabou gives the fly plenty of movement, while the silver body and flash provide a good amount of attraction without losing the darker contrast of the tail and hackle.

The silver brass bead adds weight and gives the fly a little extra focal point, making it a useful pattern for getting down through the water. Fish it on a steady retrieve or vary the speed depending on how the fish are responding.

A versatile fly for stillwaters, particularly when you want something with a good mix of movement, flash and contrast.
