RJW Hot Orange and Pink Mist Wiggle Snake

The Hot Orange & Pink Mist Wiggle Snake is a highly effective snake fly variation inspired by the ever-popular Eggstacy Worm, a pattern traditionally fished under the bung on small waters and stocked venues. While the Eggstacy Worm is best known as a static or slowly fished pattern, experience has shown that fish will often chase and attack it aggressively when the bung is retrieved, treating it much like a lure.

This pattern is designed to capitalise on that behaviour. Tied to replicate the same profile, colour combination, and enticing movement of an Eggstacy Worm, it is built in a snake-style format with the hook positioned at the tail of the fly. This improves hook-up rates by targeting tail-nipping fish that often miss conventional worm patterns. The supple Eggstacy material gives the fly its distinctive wiggling action, while a brass bead adds just enough weight to help it fish effectively at depth or on the retrieve.
