RJW Claret Shipman’s

The Claret Shipman’s is a finely tied dry fly that imitates emerging midges and other small insects. The slim body is tied using a hair and squirrel blend dubbing in rich claret, segmented with a subtle pearl rib to add contrast and entice strikes. Antron fibers are incorporated to enhance buoyancy, helping the fly sit naturally on the water surface. This pattern is particularly effective when trout are feeding selectively on emergers during midges and other small insect hatches.
