Olive Cut Throat Muskin

Olive Cut Throat Muskins

The Olive Cut Throat Muskins is a proven stillwater pattern with a slim, natural profile that makes it particularly effective when trout are feeding on smaller nymphs and buzzer-style food.

Tied in olive tones, the pattern has a subtle appearance that sits naturally in the water, while the Cut Throat style gives the fly a distinctive profile and movement. The olive colouring makes it a particularly useful choice when fish are feeding on olive-toned insects or when a more natural presentation is needed.

Muskins are a versatile pattern and can be fished throughout the season, either as part of a team or individually. They are particularly effective when presented slowly and allowed to work in the water rather than being stripped aggressively.

A dependable pattern to have in the box, the Olive Cut Throat Muskins is well suited to clear-water situations and days when trout are feeding selectively on smaller, more natural food items.
