Hot Pink Tailed Candy-floss Booby

Hot Pink Tailed Candy Floss Booby

A bright and highly mobile Booby pattern with a strong hot pink tail and a softer two-tone wing. The hot pink marabou tail gives the fly plenty of movement in the water, pulsing with each pull and pause, while the white and baby pink wing creates a lighter, more translucent profile.

The combination of colours gives this Booby plenty of visibility without relying entirely on a single bright shade. The contrast between the hot pink tail and softer wing can be particularly effective when trout are responding to pink patterns but need a little more movement and variation to trigger a take.

As with other Booby patterns, the buoyant construction makes this fly particularly useful when fished on a sinking line, allowing it to be worked at depth while maintaining its distinctive position in the water. Varying the retrieve can help find the pace the fish are looking for, from short pulls and pauses to a more active retrieve.

A lively and eye-catching pattern, the Hot Pink Tailed Candy Floss Booby is a useful choice when you want colour, movement and a little contrast in your stillwater setup.
