Black and Silver Snake

A highly effective lure pattern for small waters and stocked venues, the Black and Silver Snake is designed to produce a strong, flowing movement in the water with a clean baitfish profile and excellent visual contrast. Tied in a deep black body with silver flash, it offers a natural yet highly visible silhouette that performs consistently across a range of conditions.

Silver chain eyes give the fly added presence and a subtle jigging influence as it moves through the water, while the silver flash enhances its reflective qualities without overpowering the overall profile. A black straggle hackle is dressed around the head, adding movement, bulk, and a pulsing effect that brings the fly to life on the retrieve.

This pattern is available in two sizes, both tied on size 10 hooks: a standard version of approximately 9cm, and a mini snake version of approximately 6cm, allowing flexibility depending on conditions and fish behaviour.
